Save Up To 50% On Your Favourite Wines !
A bit of festive cheer for you! With Christmas looming ever closer but more and more of us feeling the pinch, Last Drop Wines, a new UK wine merchant set up by a client of Cobalt Capital, hopes to ease the pain a little by offering fantastic wines at prices cheaper than anywhere else on the high street (visit Lastdropwines.com or call Ted on 020 7351 2973).
Last Drop Wines, which is based on London’s Kings Road but delivers wine anywhere in the UK within 24 hours, is selling many of the wines available in mainstream outlets such as Oddbins, Threshers and Majestic, but at a fraction of the price.
With prices often 30%–50% below the RRP (recommended retail price), it will even be undercutting all the major supermarket chains. For example:
a bottle of 2003 Condado de Haza, from Ribera del Duero in Spain, selling for £14.99 in Oddbins, costs just £7.49 at Last Drop Wines, a saving of 50%
a Grant Burge Barossa Vines Shiraz/Viognier 2004, on the shelf at £7.99 in Oddbins, will set you back just £4.99 in Last Drop Wines, a 38% saving
a Jacob’s Creek Shiraz/Cabernet 2006, on sale for £5.97 in Asda, costs only £3.99 in Last Drop Wines, a 33% saving
a Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2002, Navarra, available through most independents for £8.99, costs £4.99 in Last Drop Wines, a 44% saving
And no, this vino doesn't come off the back of a lorry — it's 100% legit. Rest assured we'll be stacking up on it ourselves. Oh, and if you're not brassick like the rest of us, you may want to get your hands on a bottle of 1995 Chateau Mouton Rothschild, 1er Cru Classé, Pauillac. This will set you back £300 at Majestic but only £230 at Last Drop Wines, so you can buy yourself some Beluga Caviar with the change.
